Animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history. Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Human is the creature which is the closest to God. It means we have more duties and rights for this world. Biological diversity have been damaged by the developing of modern society, which have threatened to the life of animals as well as the life of human.

The extinction of animal is an alarm to human beings. 浅论野生动物的保护 摘要：随着中国改革开放的推进，我国的经济建设取得显著的成就，我国的法律也愈来愈完善，然而，1988年颁布的《中华人民共和国野生动物保护法》却早已严重落后于野生动物保护的现实需要，尽管也有许多部门规章和影响范围有限的地方法规相应加以补充，但终因效力较低而收效甚微，可是我国的野味食客及标本收藏者却有增无减，使得我国许多野生动物濒危灭绝，同时引发了严重的生态危机。基于如此严峻的形势，修订《野生动物保护法》，并采取相应解决措施着实应引起我们足够重视。 关键词:野生动物保护法立法目的修改思路神雕之死 在2007年5月10日的头版中,《南方周末》刊登一篇题为《神雕之死》的文章，不论是血淋淋的图片，还是那催人泪下的现实记述都让我心如刀割。青海金雕，这种近乎完美和神异的，连死都不愿留在人间的巨型猛禽，最后却成了食客的盘中餐和某些富人的收藏品。金雕，“它是藏民眼中的神灵，是国家一级保护动物，是墨西哥的国鸟，也曾是古罗马的权力象征。如今因盗猎者的屠杀变得所剩无几。然而金雕只不过是一个缩影，除此之外，还有许多种野生动物成为人们的盘中餐。由此笔者想到了我国的野生动物保护状况。 一．野生动物的现实状况 我国的野生动物现状着实令人担忧。以广东广州市为例，“2002年—2005年，该市查处了158宗案件，4550多只野生动物，其中有95%以上属于珍贵或濒危类。除了金雕、猫头鹰以外，还有巨蜥、穿山甲”。而查处的部分其实商不足总额的10%，所以可以想象在这个“动物之坟”一般的地下网络里，有多少野生动物在商贩的手中进行倒卖。广州市公安局森林分局刑警队负责人描述了野生动物的贩运路线：巨蜥、穿山甲主要来自越南、缅甸，后经广西、云南流入广东；兽类一般从湖南、湖北、西北进入；鹰类来自于甘肃、宁夏、青海等地；其他鸟类来自江浙沿海；熊掌则贩运自云南。因为从收购到销售，其中间有千倍

Keyword：Wildlife; Protection; Necessity; Current situation; Countermeasures 野生动物的生存与发展维系着生态系统的平衡与稳定，伴随着人类社会的生存与发展，已成为人类生产、生活的一项重要战略资源，是事关社会经济可持续发展的重要生态资本。我国野生动物种类及其生境类型丰富多样，特有种和珍稀种较多，地域差异明显。本文试图对我国野生动物保护现状及对策作简要分析。1．我国野生动物资源情况 我国幅员辽阔，地貌复杂，湖泊众多，气候多样。丰富的自然地理环境孕育了无数的珍稀野生动物，使我国成为世界上野生动物种类最为丰富的国家之一。据统计，我国约有脊椎动物6266种，占世界种数的10%以上。其中兽类500种，鸟类1258种，爬行类412种，两栖类295种，鱼类3862种。许多野生动物属于我国特有或主要产于我国的珍稀物种，如大熊猫、金丝猴、朱鹮、普氏原羚、白唇鹿、褐马鸡、黑颈鹤、扬子鳄、蟒山烙铁头等；有许多属于国际重要的迁徙物种以及具有经济、药用、观赏和科学研究价值的物种。这些珍贵的野生动物资源既是人类宝贵的自然财富，也是人类生存环境中不可或缺的重要组成部分。[7]调查表明，国家重点保护物种是种群稳定或稳中有升的主体。 但是，我国部分野生动物处于极度濒危状态，单一种群物种面临绝迹的危险。白臀叶猴多年来一直未曾发现，这次调查仍未见到任何踪迹，可能已经绝迹。四爪陆龟、扬子鳄、莽山烙铁头、鳄蜥、朱鹮、黔金丝猴、海南长臂猿、坡鹿、普氏原羚、河狸等单一种群物种不仅种群数量少而且分布狭窄，一旦遭受自然灾害、疫情或其它威胁，则面临绝迹的危险。 2．野生动物保护的必要性 野生动物保护事业的发展是当前世界上衡量一个国家科学文化和精神文明
