一、学生情况分析

八年级是初中学习过程中的关键时期,学生基础的好坏,直接影响到将来是否能升学。学生学习态度比较端正,但缺乏明确的学习目标,要想获得理想成绩,老师和学生都要付出努力,查漏补缺,充分发挥学生是学习的主体,教师是教的主体作用,注重方法,培养能力。

二、教材分析

八年级下册全书共有12个单元,并含有两个复习单元,即:Review of units 1—5,Review of units 6—10,同时还附有Additional Material,但无Culture,单词和词组的归纳同八年级上册书,全册书必掌握的单词有398个,词组87个,人名50个,并且课本后附有每个单元的听力材料。具体每个单元所含单

词及词组情况:1、there be的一般将来时2、掌握should的用法。3、直接引语,间接引语。4、过去进行时。5、现在完进行时。6、学习if引导的条件状语从句及宾语从句。7、现在完成进行时。8、宾语从句。9、学习句型:Would you mind doing sth ? 10、学习have/has been to 11、学习反意疑问句。

学习习惯也差。主要原因是没有激发学生学习英语的兴趣,学生觉得 英语学习是一种负担,一部分学生没有掌握记忆单词的方法,连基本 的单词听不懂,学不会,但是学生整体的惰性还是很强,自觉性很差。 经过一学期的学习,听力方面失分也较多,主要是听的时间太少。针对种种问题,在本期的英语教学中,应加强基础知识的讲解和基本 技能的训练,让学生掌握词汇、语法、句型等基础知识和听、说、读、写等基本技能;另外,注意培养学生对英语的兴趣;让学生掌握记忆单词、听力、写作等英语学习技能,培养良好的学习习惯和自主探索、 合作学习能力。充分调动学生的学习积极性和主动性,使每一位学生 都能在学习中有所收获、有所进步。 另外,学生在情感态度,学习策略方面还存在诸多需要进一步解决 的问题。例如:很多学生不能明确学习英语的目的,没有真正认识到 学习英语的目的在于交流;有些同学在学习中缺乏小组合作意识;大多 数同学没有养成良好的学习习惯,不能做好课前预习课后复习,学习 没有计划性和策略性;不善于发现和总结语言规律,不注意知识的巩固 和积累。 三、教材分析 这套教材采用任务型语言教学模式,融汇话题、交际功能和语言 结构,形成了一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。本书每个单元都列 出明确的语言目标、主要的功能项目与语法结构、需要掌握的基本词汇,并分为A和B两部分。A部分是基本的语言内容,B部分是知识的 扩展和综合的语言运用。这套教材是基于城市学生的状况编写的,对 于我们农村学生来说,由于小学基础不好,到初中以后学起来的确有 些吃力,光是一千多个单词就吓退了不少学生学习英语的兴趣。但我 们还必须知难而上,为了提高农村的英语教学成绩而努力。 本册教材的重点是现在完成时的用法;反义疑问句;过去进行时的 用法;表感官和直觉的系动词的用法;动词不定式的用法;情态动词maymigustcan的用法。

三周的复习时间。在复习期间,一是引导学生对课本知识进行系统复习,包括每个单元的词汇、短语、句子和篇章以及语言目标的运用;二是利用学生手里现有的教辅,通过练习、检测,督促学生巩固单元知识;三是利用一周时间,对学生本期掌握知识情况综合评估测试,并查漏补缺。 总之,做教师的,为学生而工作,不是为了应付繁琐的所谓上级任务而奔命。
