剑桥商务英语

剑桥商务英语根本目的不在考试，而是对非英语国家国际型公司对员工的英语能力评定，而根据成绩的偏向（听说读写四个方面）来考察员工是否合适即将参与的工作岗位。但由于近几年许多外企在国内的设立，对应聘员工的要求也越来越专业，因此BEC证书也就成了外企认证的唯一标准。但是企业更看重的是英语的应用能力，许多拿有BEC证书的应聘者被拒之门外，原因也就是成绩很高却不会临场应用。

英国剑桥大学是一所世界闻名的高等学府，剑桥大学考试委员会为其下属机构，该委员会所提供的英语作为外国语（EFL）的系列考试获得世界各国的承认，被用于入学、就业等各种用途。目前该委员会在世界一百多个国家设有考点，每年参加该系列考试的有一百多万人。

中国教育部考试中心是我国国家级教育考试主管部门，负责承担各项国家级教育考试并受教育部委托代办海外机构在我国举办的各类教育考试。

商务英语证书考试（BEC）由中英双方合办。英国剑桥大学考试委员会负责命题、阅卷、颁发证书。中国教育部考试中心负责报名、印制试卷和组织考试。

考试分两个阶段进行。

第一阶段为笔试，包括阅读、写作和听力，

第二阶段为口试。

考试时间分别为：

BEC初级阅读、写作90分钟，听力约40分钟(含填写答题卡时间)，口试12分钟；

BEC中级阅读60分钟、写作45分钟、听力约40分钟(含填写答题卡时间)、口试14分钟；

BEC高级阅读60分钟、写作70分钟、听力约40分钟(含填写答题卡时间)、口试16分钟。

报名无开始时间，即任何时间都可以报名。报名截止时间：上半年报名截止时间为三月十日；下半年报名截止时间为九月十五日。报名截止时间每年会有几日的变化，以考点公布的为准。欲了解各考点的具体报名事宜，可与各考点联系。

条件

报名不受年龄、性别、职业、地区、学历等限制，任何人(包括学生、待业人员等)均可持本人身份证件到当地考点报名。在华工作的外籍人员和现役军人亦可持本人有效身份证件报名参加考试。报名每次收取考试费(含口试费)BEC初级：360元人民币;BEC中级：480元人民币;BEC高级：600元人民币。教育部考试中心新推出BEC中级机考时间为2013年9月27日和11月2日,报名时间为9月3日至9月9日，考试的阅读、写作和听力部分为机考形式，口语仍将采用考官与考生面对面的形式。要求参加机考的考生具备英文打字能力。机考的时间长度、题型、试题数量与纸笔考试完全一致。上午机试，下午口试。今年机考仅开考中级，每次人数限定25人，报名费为460元/人，机考合格者获取的证书与纸笔考试相同。

考生在报名后可得到一本内容包括考试范围、考试题型的《考生手册》，供考生参照复习。

每年五月的第三周六(BEC高级)，第四周六(BEC初级)，六月第一周六(BEC中级)；每年十一月第四周六(BEC高级)，十二月第一周六(BEC初级)，第

考试答题卡由教育部考试中心海外考试处汇集后寄英国剑桥大学考试委员会评卷。评出成绩后(BEC初级分M、P、A2、F四等(M、P表示通过，A2、F表示未通过)；BEC中级分A、B、C、D、E五等（A、B、C表示通过，D、E表示未通过）；BEC高级分A、B、

具体标准

BEC的分数由听说读写四部分组成，各占总分的25%，只要求总分及格。每部分评分标准不尽相同，比如说听力和阅读都是每道题为一个原始分，然后按照一定标准折算，比较复杂，在这里就不再赘述。以口语为例：评分标准测试依据发音、准确性、流利程度以及交流能力四个部分来判定。具体标准如下：

1．发音（包括声音大小、重音、语调、语气）

2．准确性（包括语法、用词及说话方式）

3．流利程度（包括语速、长短句搭配）

4．交流能力（包括独立性、灵活性以及对谈话方式的把握）

瓶颈及技巧

瓶颈一: 专心英语，忽视商务。

突破方法：拓展商务背景，培养商务思维。

有的学员多年学习英语，甚至是英语专业毕业，英语足够好，语法、词汇以及听说能力具佳，但通过商务英语学习，仍然无法获得在商务场景下运用语言的能力。所以，学员们往往心态急切，要么是工作的人士，提高商务英语技能为工作需要，要么是即将毕业的学生，即将走入职场，试图增加竞争的砝码。

为了增加对商务英语词汇的敏感性，需要了解涉及各个职能和行业的商务背景知识，前者常与某个职位相联系，后者常与某个场景相联系，所以在学习过程中，要侧重提高在商务环境下应用语言的能力，以及涉及到的基本的商务背景知识。商务人士的说话语气和交流思维，特别是英美人士的商务思维和日常生活中的思维是不同的。语言是思维的载体。思维方式的不同，造成了语气和语言表达的不同。这也是Business English和General English 的相异之处。

瓶颈二：专心商务，忽视英语。

突破方法：夯实基础，从最实用的东西入手，获得拿来即用的能力。

有的学员拥有多年的工作经验和丰富的商务背景知识，但英语基础不好，听说读写能力都有待提高，以适应或应对工作中的对外沟通的需要。

商务英语学习应该明确动机，就是学习最实用的东西。对于以应试为目的的学生，如果只是从纯应试的角度来入手的话，很难提高实用技能。当然商务英语考试(e.g. BEC & TOIEC)是很大程度上属于能力考试，出题方面会最大限度的避免高分低能的现象。商务英语的教学经验告诉我们，要增加学习的效率，要将应试与实用技能有机结合。实用的不一定是商务英语，而商务英语一定是实用的。商务英语课程讲得不是纯商务(Business Background)，也不是公共英语(General English)，讲的是英语在商务环境下的应用，可以称为英语商务，或商务英语。所以离开商务背景谈商务英语学习是没有意义的。学习的最好状态不但要通过考试，更是要课上学到的东西出了教室就可以派上用场。

瓶颈三：缺乏实战语境，不能学以致用。

突破方法：构造学习语境，依靠案例学习。

模拟真实案例学习的最大好处在于，让学习进入实战状态，感受类似真实的商务场景。任何商务案例(Business Real-case)都是一个实用的“小故事”，学生应把自己当成故事中的主角，或是这个场景即将发生在他们身上。这样的“故事”，可以帮助学生消化语言，提高技能。较简单场景学生可以当堂练习，而较复杂的商务案例，学生可以有一定时间在课下准备。这样可以防止学生在口语课堂上“练听力”的尴尬。现学现卖是很好的感觉。一方面帮助学生消化课堂所学的内容，另外扩大了学生的视野，提高了他们的技能。学生课前充分准备包括思考或查找资料，然后进行课上商务英语实践，这样学生就在课下输入(Input)在课上输出(Output)，使所学的语言点和技能自然转化，学生由被动接受(Receptive)变为主动参与(Productive)。另外，当把错误犯在课堂里的时候，可以有针对性的查漏补缺，增加学习效率。

通过案例学习不但实现了“实践”，还学到了实用的理念。比如：由于商务英语表达的得体性(Gentle & Courteous)，学生应该学会在商务环境高效率沟通的方式：还包括最实用的技巧。比如：由于商务英语传达信息的有效性(Informative)，学生应该学会为了达到商务目的而进行的自我介绍(Purposeful Self-introduction)。

瓶颈四：学习一劳永逸，忽视动态学习。

突破方法：将商务英语学习和工作相结合，常学常新。

随着社会经济的快速发展，全球化在各行各业的深入，电子商务对企业来说已经不再是一种技术，而是一种必要的策略。这就给商务时间带来了新的技术、理念、观念和战略，同时也带来了大量新鲜语汇。所以，商务英语的不可能历久尤新，学习过程更不能一劳永逸。将商务英语学习融入工作和生活，常学常新。

写作特点

剑桥商务英语(BEC)考试中商务英语考试时,写作部分要求考生写两篇作文。也就是“Part One”和“Part Two”。在日常的教学活动中,也可让学生记忆为“小作文”和“大作文”。

剑桥商务英语考试中“小作文”的写作特点

1. 这一部分的商务英语写作是非正式的商务英语写作形式,在写作过程中,语言可以更加轻松,有时也可用相对口语的表达方式,文字的书写可以用缩略形式(We’re ……)。

2. “小作文”的称呼和署名可根据题目所给内容和要求,可直呼其名并且在写作最后签署名字时不需要加上姓氏。例如在便本文条中,可称呼Hi Eve, 结尾署名Michael即可。

3. 正文主要内容不需要分段,一段即可。如分段或写的过多,考官会认为,在写作过程中包含了一些不必要的信息。这样不但不会加分,反而会减分。一定要把“小作文”的字数控制在写作所要求的字数之内,不要多也不要少。
