Guest: Waiter, bill, please.

Waiter: Certainly, sir. Just a moment, please. Here is your bill, sir. The total is 686 Yuan RMB.

G: Well, what’s this for?

W: This charge is for one Gordon Dry, s ir. But I didn’t order Gordon Dry, sir.

G: But I didn’t order Gordom Dry.

W: I’m sorry, sir. Just a moment, please. I’ll check it for you, sir.

G: All right. I don’t mind waiting.

W: I’m terribly sorry, sir. There is a mistake on the bill .I’ve cor rected it . The total should be 582 Yuan RMB. Would you please check it ,sir?

G: You should have been more careful.

W: Yes, sir. Please do accept my apology. Would you like to sigh your bill now?

G: What! 88 Yuan for a drink?

B: I’m sorry, sir. That’s our minimum charge: Two drinks at 40 Yuan each, plus 10% service charge.

B: What kind of currency have you got?

G: US dollar.

B: 150 Yuan for three drinks plus 10%service change.

G: Why is the drink so expensive?

B: I’m sorry ,sir. But we have to pay high taxes on imported drink.

G: I see. Thank you for your help. Then how much is that in US dollars?

B: Just a moment , sir. Today’s exchange rate is 8.08 yuan RMB for one US dollar. So it coems to 20.42 US dollars.

G: Do you honour American credit cards?

B: Yes, sir. What kind of card will you use?
