一、教材分析

1.教材内容及地位作用

本节课是第四单元Section A的第一课时，也是本单元的重点。教材内容围绕“What would you do if you had a million dollars?”展开话题，让学生学会利用虚拟语气谈论假设的情景，充分发挥学生的想象力，以形成乐观开朗的性格，并培养他们正确的人生观和价值观。

2.教学目标

知识目标：掌握虚拟条件句的基本结构。

能力目标：能够运用虚拟语气来谈论各种假设的情景，达到运用英语交际的能力。

情感目标：培养学生正确的人生观和价值观，并形成乐观开朗的性格。

3.教学重、难点

掌握虚拟条件句的基本结构，并能够运用虚拟语气来谈论各种假设的情景。

二、学情分析

九年级学生已具备了一定词汇量，并且在八年级就已经掌握了if引导的真实条件句，加上学生都有一双充满幻想的翅膀，本节课的内容恰好符合学生的这一特点，他们应该会对本节课感兴趣。

三、教法、学法

教法：任务型教学法、情景交际法、各种互动式融合法

学法：听说法、讨论法、各种合作式学习法

四、教学程序

1.引入新课

由于教学内容是围绕“a million dollars”展开话题，于是上课时，我对同学们说昨天晚上我做了一个梦，梦见我有一百万美元，有了这么多钱，我将去旅游，…接着我问同学们如果你们有了这么多钱，你们会干什么？

2.听说练习，感受新知

教师因势利导，提出这样一个问题

“If you were in a lion’s cage , what would you do ?”让学生分成四人小组讨论，学生可以畅所欲言，把自己的想法与小组内其他成员共同分享，然后与全班同学分享，同时教师给予适当指导，让学生学着使用“If I were …,I would …或者 If I had …,I would …”的句型，这样既促进了学生之间的交流，又促进了学生主动加入到学习过程中来。老师再作小结，以便引导学生形成正确的人生观和价值观，培养他们关爱别人的意识。

在学生发表了自己的意见后，让他们再来听听别人的想法，教学就自然进入到听力练习（1b）。首先让学生根据图片内容进行初听，抓住主要意思；第二步，细听，找出正确图片顺序；第三步，精听，并重复出对话内容；然后跟着录音齐读；最后在与同桌分角色读一读。这样既训练了学生的听力，同时也让学生的口语表达能力得以提高，并再次体会了虚拟语气的语法结构。

3.语法小结，挖掘规律

教师要求学生根据此前小组练习中用到的“If I were …,I would …或者 If I had …,I would …”以及录音材料中出现的“If I had a million dollars，I would …”句型，同桌共同探讨找出虚拟语气的基本结构及用法，不完整的再由老师补充说明，并把if引导的虚拟条件句与已学过的if引导的真实条件句作比较，这样既锻炼了学生的分析归纳能力，同时又使学生对语法知识的掌握升华到了一个更高的阶段，使用起来更加得心应手。

4.情景操练，创新实践

在创新实践这一阶段，则鼓励学生大胆的丢开课本，充分发挥自己的想象，利用合作式交流进行意义建构。这一阶段是学生的创新思维得以发展，语音技能得以形成，交际能力得以提高的重要阶段。它迅速激发了学生的思维，唤起其主体意识，这样一种师生互动，生生互动的场面将整个教学推向高潮。

5.反馈练习，巩固提高

为进一步反馈学生对知识的掌握情况，我设计一道完成句子。让学生先自己做，再与同桌交流，最后全班检查并作小结。这就使学生对所学知识从写的方面得以练习，并对整个语法知识有了更深刻的理解。

五、作业设计

以假如我是……，让学生充分发挥想象，并把它讲给同学听,再把它写下来。这样既避免了学生的开口英语只能在课堂上说，而离开课堂就成了哑巴英语的不良倾向，又锻炼了学生的写作能力。

七、教学设计理念

从激发学生的兴趣入手，有机的整合利用远程教育资源创设大量的情景，让学生充分开展听、说、读、写等多种活动。在学生掌握了语法知识的同时培养了学生自主学习的能力、大胆创新的精神、健康的个性品质，这样在成功突出重点，突破难点的同时，也顺利实现教学目标。

1、课前复习。 2、导入新课。先让学生自行讨论可以避免受教师的想法所局限没有自己的见解。学生合作精神的培养尤为重要，学生通过这一环节既能够有自主学习的机会，锻炼了与他人的合作，并在探索中有其个性思维发散的空间。 3、听力训练。听两遍录音，了解课文大意。 4、阅读。 5、重点词句讲解。 6、最后一个环节是作业。当学生探讨完这些问题后，我会问他们，面对这种现状，我们能做些什么呢？如何保持健康？以此为题写一篇作文。我布置这项作业的依据是新课标的要求。新课标指出：写作需有明确的动机和积极的态度，写作的题目应结合学生的实际需要，是他们具有写作的愿望这样他们才能了与写作才能重返自己的思维能力，而不是为了应付教师而做的作业。 当然，在具体的教学过程中，仍有许多问题存在。如：对学生学习的积极性的调动不够，课堂上学生的表现不够活跃。知识点的讲解还有不够清楚的地方，要在以后的教学中多努力。
