In my opinion, college students working as a village official is worth promoting. It is possible that some graduates may use the job as ―spring boards‖: only applying for it in order to receive the favorable treatment, but the majority of them genuinely hope to serve the rural areas and better the life of the villagers. （1）In our modern and contemporary society, whether parents should offer a helping hand to

In our society, a sizable portion of parents, especially the young parents, spoil their kids from all aspects. How should parents help children to be independent?

They should give their children the freedom to make choices for themselves. Children cannot be happy if they don’t have control over their life, which in daily life, means they make choices for themselves, like, what to eat, what to wear, what career to do, what kind of spouse they are going to marry. Some parents may be open-minded enough to let their children to make these tiny decisions about food and clothes, but when it comes to the big ones, they are too anxious to let their children have a try. They used to be young and they made mistakes and now it is their sons and daughters’ turn to be young—the deep love and care is so intense that it becomes even suffocating--they are reluctant to give their children opportunities to start to be responsible for their own lives.

Most of parents Love and care for children so much that children has less chances to deal with problems by themselves. Consequently, children get used to depending on their parents in everything and lack of ability to solve problems independently, which is bad for their growing. There are some effective ways for parents to help their children be independent. To start with,

parents should give their children more chances to experience the world and life around them. Thus their children can enhance the capability to overcome the difficulties and handle problems independently. In addition, parents should offer enough assistance when their children need some instructions and advices. In this way, they depend on their parents in a right way and can solve problems independently when they face the same one next time. Last but not least, parents should allow their children to make decisions independently. Children would improve the ability to deal with the problems they are confronted with in their life.

From the above discussion, I strongly believe that parent should help their children be independent by instructing them in a proper way rather than planning and considering eve rything for them. It’s children who decide their future and fate, so it would be beneficial for them to live independently with some proper instructions of their parents.

(4) In recent years, floods of parents are willing to make arrangements and decisions for their

children. And there’s no denying that majority of children take their parents’ concerns for granted. According to statistics, over 80% of parents still accompany their children to the universities, even the examinations. In this essay, I will discuss the measures that should be taken to help students be independent and offer my view on it.

First and foremost, parents should abandon the stereotyped role in Chinese parenting and render their children free to the fascinating world. Besides, we, the children themselves, should manage our own daily stuffs. In addition, the society should set up more courses and camps for children to cultivate their capability to be independent.

As far as I’m concerned, the all-covering parenting method may give rise to severe consequences, and a spoiled child won’t be competitive in this world full of the fierce competitions. Thus, the whole society should attach great importance to this problem and make our contribution to avoid this.

Second, more and more people go on to pursue their master and doctor degree; more and more Chinese oversea students come back to China to hunt better working chances. Besides, the government should try to and encourage all units to create more job vacancies for the college graduates.
