Let me tell you about my mother. She plays a very important role in my life. She is a very considerate and thoughtful person who has always done her best to help me make decisions in the face of day-to-day difficulties. And she lives with me here in Beijing, helping me look after my son.

I really consider my mother to be a role model. She has a strong personality and she never lets others tell her what to do. I learned how to be responsible and also more determined in my daily life. She always reminds me that things are not as easy as they appear and that I should work hard in order to get what I expect.

My mother has always encouraged me to be more outstanding in work. When we are together at home, she always discus ses with me about my job and often complains that I didn’t get better results. It took me a long time to realise what she meant, but now I understand how arduous and rewarding my work should be thanks to her recommendations. I believe she is one of the reasons why I always want to do better in everything I attempt

I will talk about my best friend Amit’s family. I have known them for ten years now. I met Amit at college. He was a fun-loving person and soon we became great friends. His home was near our college. As my family lived in another town at that time, I was staying in the hostel. I had some good friends in the hostel but I hated the food they served. Amit knew this. He would frequently invite me to his home. His mother is a kind woman. She is very caring and affectionate. Whenever I visited them she would prepare my favourite dishes and serve them with great love. I found my own mother in her. I also enjoy a great relationship with Amit’s father. He is a retired engineer. We both share the same passion for cricket and electronics. Amit has an elder brother who works in Germany. I have met him only a couple of times and on all those occasions he was extremely cordial. He is like an elder brother to me. Amit now lives in the Middle East and I am in Singapore. We still talk to each other on phone but I haven’t seen him in a year or so. However, I make it a point to visit his parents whenever I am in Bangalore. They are like my own family to me and have always treated me as their own son.

‘Book Keeping & Banking’ was one of the most interesting courses I took in my university level and I thoroughly enjoyed this course. In fact I learned many new concepts and theory from this course that it helped me a lot throughout the remaining semesters. This was a mandatory course in the 3rd semester in my Bachelor of Business Administration studies and the courses on this subject lasted for four months. I was so interested in this course that later on I took 3 other courses in different semesters related to banking.

I learned the accounting concept of banking, how a bank is operated, how the banking transactions and accounting are maintained, how the central banks control the money supply of the market and many more concepts from this course. A practical session was included in this course and I learned some basic transaction processes of bankers from this lab sessions.

In my third semester this was a mandatory course and I had no alternatives other than taking this course. I came from Sc ience background until my undergraduate course and that’s why I had no prior accounting course experience. I was bit dubious about this course in my university level as I did not know what it includes. But after I completed this course, I found myself very much interested in Banking procedure and automated banking.

I would say that I’d like to meet the incredibly famous Chinese pop singer, Jay Chou, whom is often seen in the entertainment channel on TV. He grew up in a single-parent family. When he was a li ttle boy Jay didn’t get good grades at school. His mother was really concerned about him, but he just looked on the bright side. When he felt down or lonely, he always looked for nice music to cheer him up.

I firstly knew him in 2000 when he released his first album “Jay”, in which his soft voice was so unique and this album turned out to be an instant hit. I was really impressed by his voice, talent and versatility in music.

His music is always original, and sometimes blends with different genres, like R&B, hip-hop, and folk music. That’s why I simply adore him and just want to meet him in person. Recently it seemed like he was really into giving his songs some traditional Chinese appeal, like he did in “The Porcelain”.
