Today I get up so early for get on the No.1312 train. It is from Qiqihar to Hangzhou. At seven past seven, the train arrives at the Shanghai South Train Station. I get to the station on time and I get on the train on time. Nevertheless, the train goes so slow and it takes me about 3 hours to go to Hangzhou. I think the next time I will go to Hangzhou by the train that starts with the letter D.

July 5

Today I will play in the Hangzhou. Hangzhou is so big. I cannot know where we will go. My parents give me a map of Hangzhou. We can travel by ourselves. First, we get on the bus Y2. We are on the way to the west lake. We get of the bus at Su Causeway. It is a long Causeway and it is very old. Sudongpuo built the Causeway. The Su Causeway is about four km long. The “Viewing Fish Flower Harbor”、“Spring Down By Su Causeway” are on the Su Causeway.

Today I go to the Xixia Hill. The famous Yellow Dragon Cave is on it. We spend a lot of time in climbing the hill. Xixia Hill is beside the West Lake, when we get the top of the hill. There is a terrace named Sunrise terrace. There are many people doing exercise there. There is some fog between the trees, so we cannot see the West Lake clearly.

July 7

Today we go to the Bai Causeway. Baijuyi builds it. He is a famous poet in ancient time. On the Bai Causeway, there is a famous bridge named Broken Bridge. The “Melting Snow On The Broken Bridge” is a famous place in Hangzhou. Go along Bai Causeway, you can see a mountain. It is in the Zhongshan Park. It is Solitary Hill. Climb on the hill you can see, all of the West Lake.

July 8

Today is my last day in Hangzhou. We go to the Longjin Village. There is famous for tea. A lot of tea’s famer plant tea on the mountain. There is also a river beside tea farm. It is Jiuxi. Many tourists are playing there. There is a waterfall at Jiuxi. We took many photos at the waterfall it is so beautiful. At 8 o’clock in the evening, I get on the train to Shanghai. Hangzhou is a wonderful city. I want to go there again.

July 9

Today I get up very late because I go home very late last night. When I got home, it is nearly midnight. I got up at ten o’clock in the morning. I am so tired I cannot do homework today. Therefore, my father let me have a rest. However, I have to do something important. I have to put the photo from camera to the computer. We took a lot of beautiful photo in Hangzhou. We are very happy.

Today I begin do homework. I do it very hard and I think I will be finishing it in a short time. I like to play when I finish one of the homework. I will have some time to play computer or watch TV. I think it is very good to me.

Today I begin to go to a school to study. I must study there every day. I can have a rest on the Sundays. I like there very much. Miss Cheng is our English teacher. Miss Wei is our Chinese teacher. Mr. Mao is our mathematics teacher. Each class is eighty minutes. There is a ten minutes rest between to class. I enjoy the class very well.

Today, Xindunhan tell me to go to library together. He says we will watch a movie first, and then we can read some books in the library. I think we will spend a good day at the library. Today is a sunny day but I need to go to school every day. I don’t like go there very often but I think if I want to improve my mark I need to study very hard. Today I am not very happy because two of my classmates make my English paper in a rubbish bin and they pour water on my exam. They are so bad and I do not want to make friend with them. Today I feel very exciting. Because my grandpa will from Shandong to Shanghai tomorrow，I think he may give me some gifts. Such as some eggs, some milk, some cakes. Today I get up very early. I go to Shanghai Train Station by underground. My grandpa will arrive in Shanghai this morning. My mother, my aunt, my cousin go with me. When the train arrive at the station，I feel really exciting. I will see my grandpa soon. My grand father goes out of the train station. I wave my hand. He fined us and goes ahead to us. He gives me a cake. I feel very happy.

Last night my grandpa lives at my home. He say he feel very good last night. Today we will go to Nanjing Road — a busy road in Shanghai. We buy something there. I play in Tom’s World with my cousin. We spent a good day there. At night, we go to the Bund to see Huang Pu River. We have a good time.

July 24

Today I will go to Shanghai zoo with my grandpa. He feed chickens, pigs in Shandong and I will take him to see some big animals. We get into the zoo. First, we take on a bus. We go to see the tigers, bears, and some dangerous animals. Next, we go to see dolphins act, in the afternoon we go to see the elephant’s act. We feel will very happy.

July 25

Today is the last day of my grandpa in Shanghai. Today we go to a wonderful place in Shanghai. It is Yu Garden. We can have lunch at Yu Garden. We eat some dumplings, Xiao Long. We enjoy ourselves there. We have a good day at the Yu Garden. This night we go to see a film with my grandpa. He likes it very much. He wants to go to Shanghai again.

July 26

Today my grandpa will leave Shanghai at noon. We get up early in the break of day and we pack my grandpa’s things for a journey. We leave home after lunch. We go to Shanghai Train Station. We buy a ticket for my grandpa. He will arrive at Shandong at tomorrow morning. I wish he would have a good time on the train.

July 27

Today morning, my mother has a phone call with my grandfather. He just arrives at the Shandong. He says he has a good sleep on the train and when he get up he is at Zibo the stop which before his destination. He thinks Shanghai is a very wonderful city he wants to come here again. I think Shandong is also a good place to live.

July 28

Wow, the time goes so fast and the first month of the summer vacation will be over. In the first month I do all of my homework. In addition, I go out and have a play. I begin to go to have lessons. And I play with my classmates twice. I have a very good month and I think I will as good as this month in the August.

I need to do my homework as quick as I can. Because my father thinks, I need to be better in the next term. He let me remember a Chinese poem, an English reading comprehension, a Classical Chinese, an English listening comprehension every day. I think it is a little more but it can improve me. This is my last English competition. I think my summer holiday is very busy but rewarding. I am very happy because I can go to school again and I will play with my classmate.
