一次我乘坐交通工具旅行的经历发生在西安，当时有一辆巴士，从西安城区开往著名景区兵马俑。

I trip that I had by public transportation was taken place in Xi’an. It was a bus that led us to one of the famous tourist spot, the Terror Cotta Warriors, from the downtown of Xi’an.

那会儿大约是在八年前读大学的的一个夏季周末。我那天本来打算不想去任何地方的，但是我的一位美国朋友的朋友从德州刚过来，所以想请我做下他们的导游去那里玩玩。于是我同意和他们一起去了。

It was a summer weekend in my college life about 8 years ago. I wasn’t suppose to get to any place on that day, but an American buddy of mine asked me out to be a tour guide for his newly arrived friend from Texas. So, I agreed to accompany them.

那天感觉也没啥特别的，除了有一件事情让我们感到很不爽。那天的交通真是烂到了家。

开车过去没法准时到，于是我们就去巴士站了。然后，我们排队等了将近一个小时终于上了巴士，坐在了滚烫的座椅上。

Well, that day was nothing special but there’s one thing that really pissed us off. The traffic really sucked on that day. To avoid getting annoyed by our tiredness on the bus, we kept ourselves in different dialogues. Joked about life issues, stereotypes caused by the culture discrepancy, etc. I should day, that bus trip wasn’t bad with those friends from afar, and I did my part well introducing the history of the figures in the pits before we reached to the museum.

要是我独自一个人去玩，估计我会崩溃掉。我真是希望西安的政府能够多投资一点资金在提升公交的环境状况上，比如在巴士上安装一下空调，让乘客在大热天好受点。

Jeez, this bus trip would be a horrible one if I went there alone. I just hope the government of Xi’an could invest a little bit more to improve the condition of the bus, for example, setting up an air-conditioner on the bus, so that the passengers could felt less uncomfortable in the sultry summer.
