英语作为一门语言的交际工具,我想它真正存在的价值就是被使用。人们可以通过英语与人沟通。但我们目前的状况是,英语只是一门学科、考试的科目而已,交际的功能基本失去了。

如何使学生能够在学习中掌握英语知识并进行交流呢?

首先总结出学生不愿用英语交流的原因有四方面:第一,没有这样

的环境迫使他去说。第二,不知道说什么。第三,不会说。第四,不愿说。

找到了问题的原因,那么,我们在教学中应该怎样去改变呢?

首先,我认为英语考试的方法应该跟上实际的要求,应该重视语言

表达。

目前,考试就是指挥棒,考到哪里教到哪里。教师挖空心思地钻研考点,学生一遍一遍地去练题,就是为了考个好成绩。这样的教学学生哪里还有时间练口语呢?所以,我们应增加适当的口语考试,让他们去说、去练,创造这样的大环境。

其次,要想解决不知道说什么的问题,我们可先找范文反复阅读,然后再去背诵。平时在教学中进行到这一步就可以了,就能解决考试中的一些问题了,但是要想让学生真正学会运用,到这一步还是不够的。因为他背过了顶多两天又忘记了。要想让他们会说,我们要让他们反复去读,并且能够去复述文章的基本内容,然后再以小组的形式交流背诵。学生之间使用所教内容设计一

篇对话进行表演,在学习中不断地去积累素材,不怕到时候没话可说。

学习中给每个学生设一个搭档,两人每天上课时要自由用英语交流两分钟。看看哪些组交流得好,一周进行总结。好的小组的对话句子,可让全班学生来分享。
