㈠GRE考试总论：

GRE考试的最终结果，由实力、运气、和临场状态（心理和生理）三者决定，而前者的重要性远大于后两者，并且我们能够把握的，也只有前者，所以我们主要关注的是对实力的培养。

GRE备考多长时间最为理想，笔者可以负责任的说：上过新东方G班的，需要6周；没上过新东方的达到大学英语六级或同等水平（不具备一定的英语实力，是很难快速适应GRE 题目的难度的）以上者，需要两个月。以上结论的另一个前提是要全脱产的学习或累计完成下文详述的相同的工作量。

每个人都是individual，有些人只花两个星期，全靠机经去考试，取得了够用的成绩；有些人为求保险，花费半年或以上的时间来准备G，这是两种较为极端的情况，本文提到了“完美”，和“最优”两个词，就是要在最短的时间内使考试成绩最大化，使失败的概率最小化，即最有效率的完成GRE考试的全过程。

当然，没有一种方法能保证您100％的成功，因为如上所述，考G的成败还要受运气和临场状态的影响，以上两者又是紧密相关的，

㈢GRE复习详细时间表：

注：没上过新东方的，按八周计划执行，上过新东方的只需执行后六周的计划。以下提供的作息时间表仅供参考，可按自己习惯灵活安排，只要完成相应任务量即可。

△第一、二周：

Day1－2：

阅读钱永强，杨继，杨鹏，陈圣元著作的介绍部分，到网上看前人发的考试感想（不用看机经），以求对GRE考试有一个大致的了解。

Day3－12：

背黑宝书，每天三个List（平均每三个小时背一个List，每个人的记忆力是不同的，这里不要求一定背得很熟，只需要达到自己三小时所能达到的记忆水平）。每天抽出两小时，复习前一天背过的单词，原理同前。

时间参照：上午：8：30－11：30；下午：14：00－18：00；晚上：19：00－23：00

这个时期可以说是整个GRE考试过程中最痛苦的一环，如果把握得好，就能为后边的实力质变奠定坚实的基础。笔者感觉单词乃是决定考G成败最关键的环节，而背词又是个体差异最大，最有可能时间不够的环节，所以请大家一定要坚持下来。

Day13－14：

这两天可稍做休整，每天各花3小时看杨鹏难句教程的25个句子（此教程共有130个GRE 难句），再把钱永强，杨继，陈圣元书的方法论看一遍，同时可继续上网看前人的学习和备考方法。

在这里，笔者再强调一次，笔者提供的时间仅供参照，每个人可因自己的个体差异灵活掌握，但一定要完成全部任务量。

△第三周：

Day15: 时间参照：

上午：8：00－12：00；

用背词软件每天背黑宝书的两个List。有了第一遍的基础，速度应该更快了吧。上过新东方的同学应该有一定红宝书基础吧，半天2个List应该不难。如果单词不熟，由于对题目已消除了陌生感，做题速率可大大提高，完全用不到以下所述参考时间的长度，挤出的时间可用于背单词。以下每天上午背单词，直到Day29。并且把复习时背不出的单词剔到生词本中去。

下午：14：00－18：00；

晚上：19：00－23：00；

共看杨鹏难句教程的80个句子。

Day16：§时间参照：

下午：14：30－17：30；

晚上：19：30－22：30；

重看所有难句。

Day17－21：

每天花7个小时做阅读每小时做1个section，一长一短两篇阅读。考虑到初学者的水平，这个速度应该可以接受。这个时期做国内题90.4－最新练习题二，共33个section。做完后应马上对照杨继的GRE阅读剖析，后三天做题时应参照长阅读12分钟，短阅读6分钟的标准，即使没读懂，也要按时完成，做过后一定多总结，培养对出题点的敏感性和套路感。先练习阅读的原因在于，阅读对填空有促进作用，一开始就做填空会感觉界面太不友好，并且阅读在Gre中难度第一，攻克了阅读对建立信心很有帮助。

完成阅读的训练以后，从Day22开始知道Day38，为保持对阅读句子的敏感，建议每日睡前读杨鹏书中的10个左右GRE或GMAT难句。

△第四周：

Day22－27：

每天花7个小时做填空的12个section，从No4－最新练习题二，共74个section，平均每个35分钟。应该很容易达到。对照陈圣元的书，每一道题认真找出分隔和粘连中的对应关系，完成后，填空应有质的飞跃。

从Day28－Day38，为保持对填空句子结构的敏感，每天可在睡前复习1个section的填空，由于已经做过一遍，速度应该很快。

Day28：恭喜你，攻克GRE的道路你已走完了一大半。下面转入逻辑的学习吧。从这一天直至Day31,每天花7个小时看钱永强书的第二、三部分逻辑解题方法,仔细体会组题中隐含条件的推导和单题的推理方向。

△第五周：

Day29－31：怎么样，太傻第二遍背完了吧。在第五周的每个上午把剔入生词本中的单词背熟吧。下午和晚上继续把钱永强的逻辑分析第二、三部分做完。

Day32－33：现在的机考逻辑越来越难，组题一定要重视。在这两天里一天做四套题做完95.4－98.4，即钱书的后半部分的所有组题，应该能够轻松完成吧。

Day34－35：这两天再轻松一点，仔细体会奇奇的逻辑新七种武器，做完网上精选的LSAT 逻辑组题。

△第六周：

第六周的前五天上午，背太傻单词一勺烩中的逆序，600个/天，同样，把不熟悉的单词纳入生词本，类比关系不清楚的，查一勺烩中自带的Webster辞典，十分方便。第六天复习生词本的内容，再把单词筛选一次，到第七天，全部彻底背熟。背逆序的好处是，可以避免固定位置造成的对词汇熟练程度的错觉，并且有助于区分后缀相同的易混词。

Day36－38：共花12小时左右做从93.2－98.4的25个section中的单题，约25min/section，时间非常充裕，可调整放松一下。

Day39：下午背一下数学单词，晚上模考一套PP2练习题，检验一下前一段的学习成果，这时水平应大于V/A/Q：600/700/780，为正常，如果某一项没有达到这个标准，说明这一项还比较薄弱，后面的复习可着重加强。没有必要有任何担心，最关键的步骤还没有进行。Day40－42：开始做PP2 review。

阅读长文共34篇，每篇8－10题，只用做其中的奇数或偶数题，做完后立刻对照PP2 handbook中花儿的阅读，培养对出题点的敏感和对题型套路的熟悉。做题＋复习：20min/篇。

短文共42篇，同样只需做奇数或偶数题，做题＋复习：10min/篇。

△第七周：

这一周每天上午看太傻类比反意大全，类比/反意：1400/1800个，平均每天600个左右，最后一天将易混题复习一下。

Day43：PP2 review中填空共142个，且半数以上是笔考的重题，结合PP2 handbook，做题＋总结：3min/题，6.5小时之内就可轻松完成。只用做到120题，剩余题和最后的模考题有重复。

Day44－45：

PP2 review题库一中组题共108道，做每组题中的奇数或偶数题。组题水平个人差异很大，如果对组题感觉良好，可只做前人推荐的难题。感觉吃力者，建议全做，尽管大多数题与现在机考逻辑的难度有较大差别，但解题熟练度的提高仍然是大有用处的。做题＋总结：9min/题。

Day46－47：

PP2 review题库一中单题共171道。做完每题后结合PP2 handbook，按钱永强书中所述方法，分析其关系，4.5min/题，两天即能轻松完成。

Day48：下午和晚上分别完成题库中的所有类比反意，主要培养对类比关系的敏感。

Day49：数学不好的同学，看看网上的《数学无忧》，背背数学单词，按review中的标准时间做四套题。理科生可背背数学单词，细心做两套review，每套控制在错2之内。剩余时间放松一下。

△第八周：

终于进入到考G冲刺的最后一周了。

Day50－51：上午8：00－12：00，最后再把太傻过一遍，不要对词汇太过自信，只要连续2天不碰它，就会遗忘5％－10％。把还不熟悉的词放入生词本。

下午14：00－18：00，（建议中午午休），灵活掌握针对自己的薄弱环节，强化训练。

晚上19：00－23：00，两天时间分别看完截至当日的本月单题和填空的机经。看机经不用看零散的，只需看机委会的总结。打包下载，非常方便。

Day52：上午：把前一天放入生词本的单词背熟。

下午：把陈圣元书中每题后的填空词汇过一遍，不认识的誊写下来（网上亦有总结）。

晚上：看完阅读机经。

Day53：上午：背熟前一天的填空词汇，背诵杨继书中文章后的阅读词汇。

下午：严格按时间完成笔考98.11（数学不做）。成绩不要看重，因为笔考和机考有较大差异，主要是保持GRE的做题感觉。（如果严格按照本计划执行，模考成绩应在2100以上，这样机考即有上2200的极大把握。）

晚上：将这两天补充的单题，填空，逻辑机经看一遍，数学没有800分把握的将数学机经也看一遍。

Day54：上午：由于大多数同学在上午考试，所以需要找一找上午做题的状态（下午考试者可将上下午计划对调）。完成笔考题99.4(数学不做)。

下午：类反机经No.1题，背诵版，讨论版，统统背一遍，争议题自己查查Webster，把不熟的剔出来，以备复习。

晚上：下午的计划如果没完成，晚上可继续，完成后，看组题机经，较肯定的，自己动手推出隐含条件，略推一下可能的出题点。不全的，不要花过多时间纠缠。

Day55：上午：PP2的第二套题。几乎全是重题，主要是最后熟悉一下机考环境，把握一下节奏。

下午，晚上：推完全部组题机经，将新增地机经看一遍，特别是类反机经，要全部搞熟。Day56：最后一天。上午，将PP2 review题库二中的题随便做几道，不用做完，主要是为保持做题感觉。剩余时间复习所有阅读，单题，填空，和词汇。在全部复习完一遍后，可看看当日最新机经（不看也罢）。

㈣GRE方法论：

时至今日，各种GRE的学习方法可谓汗牛充栋，正如太傻单词对ETS词汇题库的发掘一样已经没有多大潜力可挖了。笔者在这里无意也无力提供什么新方法，或定义什么新方法，希望大家自己斟酌，找到适合自己的最佳方法。这一部分主要对第㈢部分复习计划的制定和选材原因做一些解释，以打消某些朋有心中的疑虑。

新东方对考G有多大用，没人能说清楚。新东方出国考试做出过历史性的贡献，这一点任谁都不能抹杀。新东方的某几位老师的著作，尤其是上文提到的几本，至今仍是考G的经典之作。然而由于其本身规模的暴胀，教师队伍逐渐良莠不齐，那些第一二代真正吃透了GRE的创业者们，要么远渡重洋，要么退居二线，新东方已经开始变味。

新东方的第三代老师授课方法的蓝本，无疑是以上几本权威之作，笔者经过了GRE考试之后，愈加清晰的感受到，这些老师的授课方法，如同GRE阅读题的答案一样，就是对原文的改写。他们在改写这些方法时，为了显示出自己的特点，以及能够带给学生不同以往的新的东西而不至使自己的授课变得毫无意义，对这些方法进行了细化，看似清晰了解题思路，实则是大大的将其复杂化。

新东方对留学考试，甚至对中国与世界文化交融都做出过历史性的贡献，但是它所做的一切的初衷只是为了个人价值的实现，即是从私的角度出发，“主观为个人，客观为大家”，当然这无可厚非。但它的付出都是有回报的，而且这回报甚至超出了它的付出。从市场经济的角度上说，双方完全是交换利益的供求关系。所以没有任何理由对它表示感谢，相反，应该表示感谢的反而是新东方。

又到了GRE机考的季节，写篇总结，献给奋战在机考一线的同学们。

20天GRE作文4.5

1.背景（介绍本人经历，可跳过）

我考场是2008年7月25日10：00的西安，时值保送结束6个月，距大学开学还有一个月。从3月中旬开始上GRE提高班（周末上午），地点万泉河一楼，作文是张雷东。

上班时的英语水平大概是四级600左右。四级词汇基本认识，六级和托福认识大约一半。

感觉他讲的东西对我提高蛮大的。毕竟当时还是高三的学生，好多问题脑子里还不大明白，而作文又是我的万年软肋。能拿到4.5分，很大程度上要归功于张雷东。当然，那个学期我在清华和北大旁听了一些课程和讲座，对提高思维有很大的帮助。

整个学期都没有好好准备作文，没有写过哪怕一篇文章甚至提纲，只是听了课。单词也没有好好背，到作文时才背了第一遍。这才有了20天GRE作文的经历。

2.20天的安排

我是7月2日开始准备GRE作文的，之后于5日和12日去考驾照，24日从郑州坐火车到西安没看书，算下来总共准备了20天。

首先，我花了1天的时间把题库中所有的题目看了一遍，找出了所有不认识的单词，查出来列了一张表集中背诵。

之后，开始准备argu。准备argu共11天。第一天先看了北美范文和网上流传的一些文章，分析了一下作者的思维模式，回味了一下老师上课讲的内容。第二天上午写了第一篇文章。我写的时候没有提前打提纲，也没有挑高频写，用的是awp的随机。从第一篇开始限时，第一篇用了一个小时多一点点好像。然后自己对其进行修改，逐个检查拼错的单词，再发给gre班上的同学帮忙修改。从第三天开始，每天写两篇，分别与两个同学互改（每人发给一篇）。时间从一个小时逐渐缩短到30分钟，这大概是第五天的事了。之后继续以每天两篇的速度写，然后与同学互改。就这样，7月12日过去了。12、13日，我把剩下的所有argu 重新看了一遍，简略地标出了每篇的flaw，数理了思路。

从7月14日，我开始准备issue。同样的先看北美范文以及网络范文，然后开始自己动手写，先是随机然后是高频。西安的高频没有找到现成的，我自己分析的机经。每天两篇，互改。

到了7月20日，我开始模考。连续模考了四天。每天上午模考，时间与考试时间一致。下午与同学互改文章以及看高频issue。

3.经验总结

放issue攻argu，此为王道。issue只要写完且篇幅过得去应该能拿到3.0，如果argu拿到5.5的话总分就有4.5了，argu4.5分总分也能到4。而且驳论通常比立论好写，你就挑错找茬就行了。

一定要跟同学一起写，不一定是空间上的一起，但一定要有人跟你互改，且最好专业背景尽可能大（我是学力学的，我的同伴基本是学文的）。互改中要注意一下几点：

a易拼错的单词或字母组合，记下来，偶尔错的那些通过强化记忆解决；总错的不解决，写完文章后检查每个此类字母组合。

b别人使用的逻辑词和连接词，使用到自己的文章中，对于单词量低的同学尤其重要。

c作文的逻辑思路。GRE上次改版前是每有作文的，作文的前身是“逻辑”，因而作文承担了考察逻辑能力的任务。对于没有文采的理工科同学，一定要加强文章的逻辑性，形成自己的一套思维模式，这比写模板更快速有效。比如我的思路就是“人会死”，不管什么都往这上面扯。记住坚信argu每句话至少错了一个地方，这样才有可能一篇argu找出10+的flaw。

写的时候先写开头，然后写每段第一句话，接着写结尾段，最后给每段支撑段加上内容。支撑段应该有2~3段。argu每段1~2个flaw，我当时找了一堆flaw，所以写了4个还是5

个支撑段，结果后面的两个段实在没时间了，每段只写了大概3句话，每句话都涉及一个flaw。

GRE作文基本还是用的四六级的词汇，尽量不要用不熟的词汇，防止用错。

不要担心考场发挥不好，一般人考场上能多写至少一百词。场下argu写到350，issue写到450已经很不错了，场上能写到多得多。

最后，一定搞明白自己想投寄的学校在哪个州。填写寄成绩的学校虽然是在作文写完之后，但你要是花的时间太长一样会遭老师白眼的。
