《口译》课程标准

一、课程基本信息

二、课程性质

本课程是专业综合实践及拓展课程,目标是让学生掌握口译基本理论知识,具备熟悉国际商务环境以及商务英语现场口译的能力,具有跨文化交际素质。以商务英语口语课程的学习为先导,为翻译、BECv后续课程的学习奠定基础。

三、课程基本要求

1.分析和设计方面

通过本门课程的学习,使学生具备既通晓商务知识,熟悉国际商务环境,善于跨文化交际,又掌握口译技巧的能力。同时树立良好的职业道德素质、培养社会活动能力与应对各种商务场合的方法。

2.技能训练方面

(1)知识与技能

通过本课程的学习,掌握基本的口译方法及原则,熟悉商务接待的基本工作流程,掌握基本的交通信息,掌握举办展览会的基本流程,熟悉商务谈判的流程,熟练使用各种商务场合的词汇和基本句型,掌握各国文化背景知识,饮食文化,培养跨文化意识,掌握各国外交礼仪,商务礼仪。

(2)方法能力

在课程的教学过程中,突出学生为主体。启发学生善于观察、自主思考、独立分析问题与解决问题。通过以学生为主体的学习,使学生提高观察、思维、推理、判断、分析与解决问题的能力,掌握不同行业的背景资料,相关专家的资料。针对目标客人进行访谈,能够独立处理商务活动中出现的意外状况。

3.其他方面

通过讨论,分析,决策以及团队实践活动让学生领会并认识到敬业、守信、高效、协作、精益求精等职业道德与素质在个人职业发展和事业成功中的重要性,使学生能自觉树立培养良好的职业道德及职业习惯的意识,树立较强的责任感,使命感,具备细致、周到、全面、体贴的服务态度。

1、项目载体选择

在课堂中适当开展项目,主要选取双语跨文化交际活动为项目载体,虚拟交际场景。让

学生主动参与项目活动,体验商务英语商场环境,扩大口译学习空间。

2、教学媒介选择

(1)印刷材料:教材;

(2)图示媒介:投影仪等多媒体设备;

(3)照片媒介:照片、幻灯片、电影;

(4)电子媒介:口译录音和录像设备。

3、教学方法选择

由于“商务现场口译”涉及了理论课和实践课两种课型,在教学中我们主要采用了任务教学和模拟仿真两种教学方法。这两种方法主要充分体现了协作式、探究式的学习方式,教学方式以分组形式为主,在作业的制作过程中学生需要查阅大量的资料。根据本课程特点,考虑学生实际情况,在课堂上开展以学生为主体,教师为主导,以能力为本位,任务驱动型教学模式,开展小组活动,双人对话等多种互动。利用大量业余时间指导学生进行英语角、网络英语聊天,给学生提供足够的音像视听材料和案例,及各种模拟活动场景,让他们进行口语实训以便充分调动学生兴趣,注重培养学生实际能力的教学方法。通过与课堂内容紧密结合的课堂活动(如讨论、案例分析等),寓教于乐,丰富教学内容,有效地调动学生学习的兴趣,提高学生的学习积极性,树立学生互动交流的意识,使学生真正成为教学活动中的主体。

4、课程教学中应注意的问题

课程教学中应当注意学生对理论知识的接受能力,要根据学生不同时期的知识需求因材施教。另外,应当注重学生对该课程兴趣的提升,运用多元化的教学方法和手段适时、适当提升学生对该课程的学习积极性。

六、考核评价

包括形成性考核和终结性考试。形成性考核:本课程的形成性考核占课程总成绩的50%,由学生平时上课的出勤率、完成作业的情况、在课堂上的综合表现以及参加小组活动的情况综合而成。终结性考试:本课程的终结性考试占课程总成绩的50%,考试采取实践性考试的方式。

七、习题

根据教学需要,以小组为单位,以口头录音形式完成5次商务英语口译任务,作为评定课程成绩的一部分。
