Despite these disadvantages, the advantages can still not be ignored. First of all, the latest research shows that game-playing helps children to home their communication and interpersonal skills. In many cases, players work together in teams to achieve goals, competing against other players. Therefore, their social skills and teamwork spirit are put to the test. Also, computer games can have positive and therapeutic effects on players. Games provide an opportunity for children to decompress and tune out of strains and stresses of everyday life. Giving their time to rest is critical for emotional and mental well-being.

In conclusion, it is not advisable for children to play computer games, for the reasons that it not only has a negative impact on their study, but also makes them lose confidence, although computer games provide a form of relaxation.

In many large cities in northern China, haze weather has become a daily killer, especially causing respiratory diseases in winter. Also, populace will easily access to viruses and bacteria if they live in a poor housing condition without any advanced sanitation. Therefore, governments should give more attention and higher investment in these two areas.

Compared to individuals, governments have more power to arrange a wide range of social resources to address severe issues; however, it does not mean that addressing this problem totally depends on governments. The state is an organizer or a coordinator in our society instead of a responsibility taker. Although governments can claim people to enhance the awareness of environment protection, make policy to strengthen the environment management and invest estate where they need, public health condition is still a personal problem to some degree. People have the obligation to form and keep a healthy and positive lifestyle, or they will still face the threat of illness and diseases even the environment and housing condition getting better.

In conclusion, people also need to take responsibility of their well-being as governments only hold a position as organizer and coordinator. The most feasible solution may be that governments provide a fine setting on one hand and public should pursue a healthy lifestyle for themselves on the other hand.

In order to address this problem, the government and citizens should make joint efforts. First of all, the government ought to provide free education of recycling lectures for the public. If the government does not pay attention to the establishment and development of this industry, the problem will continue to exist in our society.

It is apparent that students can obtain more knowledge from their teachers because teachers do not only function as craftsmen who only impart knowledge but also serve as a supervisor or a guardian. This is especially true in the case where students are less self-disciplined and are inclined to go astray without the supervision and guidance of teachers. By comparison, others resources of learning such as Internet and TV sometimes are likely to make the students distracted due to a host of irrelevant information, which will undermine their learning efficiency and make students learn less.

It is also true that students are likely to learn more from other resources. Internet and TV are two media where there are a wealth of knowledge and information ranging from science and humanity. They are also the easily accessible platforms for the students who are in the remote places where the teaching resources are not so abundant as that in more developed regions. However, other learning resources can hardly challenge the dominant role played by teachers.

To sum up, teachers are still the primary resource from which students gain knowledge, although the influence of other learning resources cannot be underestimated.

With a rapid increase of crime, more citizens are scared of aggressive acts all over the world. As to whether more measures can be taken to stop crime, there is an endless debate. From my personal view, although more actions cannot fully guarantee the security of the whole society, it is not the reason for which people can surrender to violence.

Clearly, actions such as enacting more strict laws and legislations can effectively curb the frequency of crime. Fearing punishment is usually the nature of humans, so when they are informed of the consequence of committing crimes, they are more prone to stop doing anti-social acts. In addition, providing moral education contributes to raise people’s safety awareness and consequently prevents crime. As the Internet prevails, information about laws and legislations are more achievable, and thus there is a possibility that people are given more opportunities to learn how to distinguish right from wrong.

However, feasible measures are still not a panacea to the establishment of a completely safe society. If governments fail to guarantee a basic living standard for their citizens, crime rate will hardly be controlled. It is widely believed that a decent job and sufficient disposable income can reduce the possibility of committing socially unacceptable behaviour. The insecurity of society can also be attributed to the fact that it is less possible for governments to eradicate all factors leading to crime. Illegal drugs and alcohol are more accessible than before. People may have to commit crimes in order to get these items.

To conclude, reasonable actions including making severe policies and offering education are of great help to control criminal events. However, they may still not be able to ensure a secure living environment for people if fundamental needs of materials cannot be fulfilled.

American, as well as Canada and Australia, is marked by their high population mobility, or immigrants, to be more exactly. The culture in these nations is based on other cultures indeed. Therefore, they welcome different countries and it cannot be a problem to them. Also, some countries, like China, India and British, have their own unique ethnic identity and cultural confidence which come from their long history. Global contact will also be acceptable to them, too. Only to the weak countries, the local government should take steps to protect their vulnerable cultures.

In conclusion, the positive and negative influence of global communication really coexists. However, the outcome of closer contact is better or worse is determined by different countries.
