几种英文杂志报刊及一些个人体会！

几种英文杂志报刊及一些个人体会！

个人觉得学习一种语言，更多的目的是为了更好的去感受该国的文化，而绕开翻译直接去接触。语言环境不是每个人都可以得到的机会。但是，有一点，现今找点英文的报纸杂志

或通过互联网太多的英文，可以读！

我一直很喜欢英语，我更喜欢去感受，而不是单独为考试。——哈哈，现在，是不敢这么干，得为考研着想。可是，刚才看了一个帖子，叫推荐杂志，我想他不该是05考的。于是，想就这个问题发表一些个人看法！也欢迎大家讨论。

我平常看报纸杂志看得比较杂。下面都是我看一段时间的，自己对他风格的简要说明，你可以根据自己情况选择一二看看。看报纸主要是可以掌握很多时下的流行词汇，这是书本

学习无法比拟的。

推荐我比较喜欢也是比较熟悉的几种：

[1] China Daily 很全面，政治、经济、金融、外交、体育、娱乐……不过有些难度；

[2] 21st Century 贴近学生生活吧，更多关乎 teenager 的内容 youth speak；

以上两种见的都很多，看的人也很多，我不多说。下面几种，大概看的人不多，但我觉得

还是很值得一看的，——如果你有时间的话:p

[3] Star 上海出版的星报，关乎文化的内容比较多比如什么音乐会啊，展出啊，时下流行的东西啊。这个报纸也是我看它广告看的最多的，呵呵，实际上，有时广告简捷得你根本都不知道它在卖什么！多看看多想想，熟悉就好了；

[4] Beijing Reviews 是一个周报，个人觉得比较适合中等水平者！而且不是每天都有，哈哈，买报纸不可能每天都能看完——也几乎是不可能的事。所以，周报正好看完新的就

有了。

[5] China Today 是月刊（16开64页，没改版的话，我是前两年看的多），广州出版的，这个就是一个向外国人介绍中国的杂志。里面的内容更有一些国外读者面向性，这也很好啊。实际上就是在学习一种如何向外国介绍中国的问题。每期的内容有时下经济、政治要闻（三二句话的，简捷表达），另外还有就是旅游景点的介绍，考古啊，美食（每期一个菜，当然是英文介绍做法，想必很多表达都是我们很陌生的，比如什么炒煎煮炸之类……）。每期会主要介绍中国的一个城市，从文化背景到现在的状况，发展啊，投资环境各个方面。

哦，还有一点学汉语的章节（二三页，你有兴趣可以看看:)）

[6] Times 美国《时代周刊》这东西可就高深了。建议此前先把自己的词汇量恶补一番——推荐一本词汇书中国友谊出版公司的《时代英语单挑1000》。高深，是你对他的畏惧与景仰，当你与之平起平坐时你会有种酣畅淋漓的感觉！他里面的表达地道的让你不知道如何用言语去形容，甚至于汉语都变得苍白（呵呵，这是我不大会翻译的缘故，能体会无法言表。语言都是各有所长，汉语自是意境取胜。）哈哈……扯远了。

另外，就阅读报刊杂志的时候一点个人体会叙述如下：

1 看到不会的词怎么办？

能顺过就顺过，看报也搬本字典，太夸张吧。

但是当你发现，你不会的单词的拼写变得有些熟悉的时候，

那说明你该查查他了，查过你实际上已经掌握那个单词，就是这么神奇！

2 常用表达的问题

常见的表达，或者“官腔”（就是说话的 style）的东西要多多体会，必要的时候做做笔

记。

说明：

我一般不看那些学习性质的杂志报刊，所以没有列出。大家可以跟帖讨论。

以上经验希望对于培养英语兴趣有帮助！

英文投稿必看学术期刊投稿术语

1. Submitted to Journal 刚提交的状态 2. Manuscript received by Editorial Office 就是你的文章到了编辑手里了，证明投稿成功 3. With editor如果在投稿的时候没有要求选择编辑，就先到主编那，主编会分派给别的编辑。这当中就会有另两个状态： 3.1. Awaiting Editor Assignment指派责任编辑 Editor assigned是把你的文章分给一个编辑处理了。 3.2. Editor Declined Invitation 如果编辑接手处理了就会邀请审稿人了。 4.随后也会有2种状态 4.1. Decision Letter Being Prepared 就是编辑没找审稿人就自己决定了，那根据一般经验，对学生来说估计会挂了1）英文太差，编辑让修改。2）内容太差，要拒了。除非大牛们直接被接收。 4.2. Reviewer(s) invited 找到审稿人了，就开始审稿 5. Under review 这应该是一个漫长的等待。当然前面各步骤也可能很慢的，要看编辑的处理情况。 如果被邀请审稿人不想审，就会decline，编辑会重新邀请别的审稿人。 6. Required Reviews Completed 审稿人的意见已上传，审稿结束，等待编辑决定 7. Evaluating Recommendation 评估审稿人的意见，随后你将收到编辑给你的decision 8. Minor revision/Major revision这个时候可以稍微庆祝一下了，问题不大了，因为有 修改就有可能。具体怎么改就不多说了，谦虚谨慎是不可少的。 9. Revision Submitted to Journal 又开始了一个循环。 10.Accepted 恭喜了 11.
