Most children go to public schools. Their parents do not have to pay for their education because the schools receive money from the government. If a child goes to a private school, his parents have to get enough money for his schooling. Some parents still like private schools, though they are much more expensive.

Today about half of the high school students go on to universities after they finish the secondary school. A student at a state university does not have to pay very much money if his parents live in that state.

But many students work while they are studying at universities. In this way they make good working habits and live by their own hands.

I'm very glad to have received the letter you sent me two weeks ago. I' ve been thinking about the question you asked me. In my opinion, you should come back after you finish your studies abroad. For one reason, what you are studying is badly needed nowadays in China. It will be quite easy for you to find a good job. In fact, I know a few big companies in our city are hoping to employ people like you. For another reason, I think it will be much more convenient for you to look after your parents as they are getting old. Therefore, I think it's a good idea for you to return. So what are you waiting for?
