一、引言

英语写作教学是初中英语教学的一项重要内容,也是学生掌握比较

薄弱的一环。我们应抓好基本功的训练、开展形式多样的写作训练、进行行之有效的讲、评、改,以切实有效地提高学生的英语写作技能。

二、抓好基本功的训练

写作是语言的输出,应建立在语言材料输入的基础上,如果学生没

有关于主题信息的知识输入,没有正确的英语词法、句法、语段和

语篇结构特征等知识,就很难实现正确的语言输出。俗话说:“巧妇

难为无米之炊”。因此,要想写好作文,就必须抓好基础。

1.听写练习

听写每个单元的重点单词、短语和句子。听写练习既能练听又能练写,一方面检验了听的理解,另一方面也有助于提高写的速度及准

确性,还可巩固所学内容,为写作打下坚实的基础。

2.说的练习

每节课前几分钟,可采用值日生报告制,内容不限,可以是读过的

小故事、也可以是自己的习作;教师也可就上节课所学内容进行一

连串的提问,或让学生把所学对话改写成短文等。通过这种说的练习,让学生注意时态、语态、人称和前后的逻辑关系,从而为写作

打下基础。

3.词组识记以及固定表达句型背诵

在教学中要求学生多识记词组。词组就是单词根据语用实际形成的

一种约定俗成的固定搭配。如果想写出或说出地道的英语,就要用

那些约定俗成的词组。例如,表达吃药的词组是“take medicine”而

不是“drink medicine”或“eat medicine”。记住词组have a good time意义及用法, 写作中就不会出现“i played happily” 汉语式的错

误了。英语中有许多比较固定的表达方式,如:i am afraid that?.

it is hard to?等,掌握了它们,对学生写作大有裨益。

4.五种简单句的句型结构训练

五种简单句是指以下基本句型:sv、svp、svo、svoc、svoo。英

语中千变万化的句子归根到底都离不开这五个基本句型,因此对这

五个基本句型的训练就尤为重要。

三、开展形式多样的写作训练

1.英汉互译练习

每个单元都有一两个重点句型,让学生进行英汉互译,可进行两种

语言的对比,提高学生对英语语言的敏感度,从而在写作中有意识

地避免母语干扰,正确使用英语语言。

2.仿写

教师容易围绕句型设计小作文,鼓励学生阅读后仿写相似题材和内

容的文章,这样的写作就不会出现结构混乱、内容空洞的现象,对

增强学生的自信心、提高写作能力大有帮助。如unit 4 what would you do?这一单元主要句型是i would ?if i had a million dollars,

我设计这样的作文题:假如你中了一百万的彩票你将会怎样做?同

学们写出的作文就比较成功了。

3.充分利用教材进行写作练习,培养写的能力

go for it! 以单元编排,每个单元一个话题,每个单元都由易到难,

最后落实到以话题为主的书面写作上来。这些话题生动有趣,贴近

学生生活,题材广泛,给学生以发挥的空间和余地。每个学生可根

据个人特长以及自己对同一事物的不同见解,写出与众不同、富有

个人特色的作文来。

4.对写作主题加以讨论,并整理、组织成文

在写作教学中开展讨论,能使学生懂得该写什么,怎么写。在讨论

过程中,学生可以集思广益,互相借鉴,综合集体的智慧,降低写

作的难度,学生就不觉得无话可说,无字可写了。例如,go for it!

第九册unit 15 we are trying to save the manatees! 学完之后,要求学生写一篇环保从我做起的作文。首先让学生以四人一组进行讨论,要求学生把观点写下来。并列出写作提纲以及可能用到的词语、句式、时态等。学生经过讨论后,独立成文。在学生写作的过程中,不断巡视,回答他们的各种问题,并提醒他们注意句与句间的衔接。学生写完后,让两位学生在黑板上板书作文,师生共同修改,然后

5.写日记

鼓励学生大胆运用所学习过的词汇、语法、句型去表达自己想表达

的东西。在写作中要一气呵成,有时甚至可用汉字代替没学过的英

语词汇。这种写作不受条条框框的约束,能大大提高学生的写作兴趣。

四、进行行之有效的讲、评、改

1.只写不评、不改,学生就会容易失去写作兴趣。但由于学生在书

面表达中的错误不尽相同,因而批改时工作量非常大,一次作业的

批改常常需要很多时间才能改好。这样就会出现拖延讲评的现象,

使训练的效果降低。为了更好地调动和发挥学生的内在潜能,提高

发现问题和解决问题的能力,教师可以让学生互批互改。通过互批

互改,同学之间可以互相学习,取长补短,遇到自己弄不清、拿不

准的问题可以在小组之间商量、讨论,或请教教师,直到得到满意

的答复。

2.教师将学生所犯典型错句整理并写在黑板上,让学生找错。这样做,学生参与的积极性大增,对典型错误印象较深。并逐渐掌握一

些基本写作技巧:不可逐字翻译,不可用中文思维串联英语词汇,

有时还要利用分解、简化、意译等手段来表达。如:当我还是个孩

子时,我父母非常喜欢我。“when i was a child, my parents very love me。”(正确表达:when i was a child, my parents loved me very much.) 废寝忘食he wastes sleep and forgets meals when he studies. (正确表达: he forgets to eat and sleep when he studies)。

3.进行范文与较差文章的对比讲评,通过讨论文章结构、句式表达

及行文的流畅性等,让学生掌握英语文章的布局谋篇:开始部分说

出文章的要点;正文部分围绕主题开展叙述、讨论;结尾部分对全

文的总结和概括。避免使用单一句型,注意句式表达的多样性以及

正确使用衔接词,使行文流畅通顺。

五、以unit 7 how much are these pants? 为例,我呈现给学生一篇短文,并针对这篇范文实施以下几个教学步骤:

a. 阅读阶段

学生分组讨论自己知道的事物名称。设想把自己商店里的东西和东

西的价格进行讨论,互相补充。

小组内各成员写出初稿,并互相批改。在批改过程中,小组成员可

就内容的真实性,单词的正确与短语的运用等方面进行讨论和交流。然后,学生根据小组成员对自己初稿的意见修改自己的作文,直至,形成终稿。

老师再从学生中挑选出几篇作文,然后,叫同学把自己的作文朗读

给全班听。反思:
